I much prefer a 50mm lens to a 35mm. That's why I bought the TCL-X100. What surprised me most was that image quality is still excellent with no degradation at all. It makes the camera a little larger but not by much. I can only recommend this anyone who is thinking about it. Agreed, it is a little expensive but well worth it, as it turns one camera into two - a 35mm and a 50mm.
