Fujifilm X-E2 - Samyang 50 f1.2 AS UMC CS

Fujifilm X-E2 - Samyang 50 f1.2 AS UMC CS

Although I've used this great lens on an "old" Fuji camera, I personally can't tell the difference in image quality to any of the newer cameras. Just because a camera has been overhauled or replaced doesn't mean the image quality isn't up to standard. On the contrary, some of the older cameras produce nicer looking images than the newer ones. That's mostly due to another sensor being used in the newer cameras.

The X-E1 is the original X-series camera and I still have it and use it quite often, especially with manual focus lenses. It's quite slow to autofocus but with manual lenses that's not a factor. It's image quality is very good and just because you can now get an X-T2 for €1700 doesn't mean I have to replace it, and I have no intention of doing so. The X-E1 and X-E2 are excellent cameras for manual focus lenses, as the images from the last few posts show.
