This image was a bit of an experiment. I'd left my tripod in the car as the weather was awful. The wife was all for going back to the hotel and she was miserable because of the cold. I wasn't prepared to go anywhere without getting at least a couple of shots. I got the variable ND on the lens and just balanced it on my camera bag while still holding it with one hand. I took several exposures and this was the best of the bunch with a shutter speed of 3.2 seconds. Not bad as I didn't really expect to get anything.

Just look at the corners in this image. It is FF and hasn't been cropped at all. No smearing or distortion. It looks rather good to my eyes.

The 24-240 behaves very well MOST of the time which makes me think it could be the camera causing me so much grief. I'm just going to have to test this on another Sony camera and see if the corners turn out miserably like on the Sony A7II. Like I said, it doesn't happen all of the time. Anybody have any ideas out there?
