I like this one from the EX1. When this camera nails focus (has to have good light), it really does produce some nice images. I just held this down near the groud while kneeling and pressed the shutter release. I really didn't think anything would come of the photo. Another surprise.

EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/5.5 Exposure Time: 1/60 sec ISO: 100 12/22/11 Panasonix LX5I like the way that the tree in the background is framed by the castle on one side and the tree on the other. Sharpness and coulour is very good from this camera. A keeper alright. 1703
DMC-LX5 Focal Length: 19.2 mm Aperture: f/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/2000 sec ISO: 200 12/21/11 Panasonic LX5Another from the LX5 taken on the same day. This is not a cropped image, it was actually taken is spuare format. I've been getting quite fond of this format lately.
If you're wondering where that is, it's the Menai Bridge, North Wales which connects Angelsey with the rest of the country. 1380
DMC-LX5 Focal Length: 19.2 mm Aperture: f/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/800 sec ISO: 200 12/20/11 Panasonic LX5I'm just getting around to finishing off a lot of images takes during summer and autumn. I just couldn't keep up. This one was taken by the Panasonic LX5 in 16:9 mode. I love how you can change format with this camera. Just turn the ring on the lens mount and there you go, done. Somebody at Panasonic thought about a function. Sometimes you can tell that there was no thought going into some of the functions on a camera. This was quite a surprise to me. just great. Kudos Panasonic! 1367
DMC-LX5 Focal Length: 5.1 mm Aperture: f/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/1250 sec ISO: 200 12/19/11 Samsung EX1Again look at the detail and sharpness this camera is capable of. In this image the backgroud separation is even better than the previous image. Very impressive indeed. 1677
EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/2.8 Exposure Time: 1/350 sec ISO: 80 12/18/11 Samsung EX1This camera has a very small sensor and not really suitable for backgroud separation. However, it does have a fast lens at f1.8 and the image shows what's possible with it. Some out of focus area and the bokeh isn't all that bad. 2185
EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/2.7 Exposure Time: 1/500 sec ISO: 80 12/17/11 Samsung EX1Really sharp with great detail. Light was muted and even. Perfect for this type of photography. 9023
EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/2.9 Exposure Time: 1/500 sec ISO: 80 12/16/11 Samsung EX1This little camera is capable of some great images, in good light. In low light it really is terrible. Most of the time no focus is possible and the images are just mush. Terrible is the only word for it. But, if I'm going for a little walk and just want a light camera with me then it's fine. I have some more images from the EX1 that I would like to show in the next post or two. 2214
EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/5.3 Exposure Time: 1/60 sec ISO: 100 12/15/11 Voigtlaender Skopar 50 f2.5This image from the Skopar I really like. The texture and the detain in the mushroom is great. I've only used this lens on an Olympus camera up to now, but planning on testing it on the Nex-5N as soon as I get a chance. 1752
E-P3 Focal Length: unknown Aperture: f/1.0 Exposure Time: 1/30 sec ISO: 200 • Voigtlaender • Skopar • 50 f2.5 • Olympus • E-P3 • m4/3 • manual focus
12/14/11 Voigtlaender Skopar 50 f2.5This really is a tiny lens and you have to get used to the quirky way to change aperture on it. To do this you have to holt the focusing ring with one hand and rotate the front element with the other. First time I've seen this but I suppose I can get used to it. I also had difficulty in getting sharp images with this one but looking at these, they seen alright. Rendition is typical of a Voigtlaender lens, and I really like it. 2171
