This image shows just how sharp these prime lenses really are (mind you, I've seen some terrible older lenses so make sure you get a good copy). I stopped the lens down to f4 for this one. Note also the smooth bokeh you get. Some prime lenses tend to give you busy backgrounds, especially if you have some branches in the background but not this lens though.
