Nikon 1 V2 - 1 Nikkor VR 70-300 f4.5-5.6

Nikon 1 V2 - 1 Nikkor VR 70-300 f4.5-5.6

I haven't had much of a chance to test this lens out yet but it seems fine at the moment. I decided to purchase a Nikon 1 V2 to go with it. The camera was very cheap but suited my needs and it gave me a better grip to go with this quite large lens for such a small system like the 1 series from Nikon. I will not be aquiring the V3 because of the external EVF and Nikon decided to use MicroSD cards which I don't find at all amusing. Bad move in my opinion but it is what it is.

I'll only be posting a few shots here but I'm certainly going to come back to the system; also with a few shots from this lens mounted on a V1 camera. The reason for the purchase is the extrordinary focal length when using this lens on the 1" sensor, nearly 900mm in 35mm terms. Just think about that for a minute. How big and heavy would a FF lens be to achieve that focal length. Amazing what they achived with this lens.
