I don't know about you, but when I get a new lens, it's like Christmas all over again. The first thing I want to do is just go out and test it. When the weather is bad then I'll do something indoors, try and be a little creative but invariably fail.
Well, I received the Olympus mZD 60 f2.8 Macro teh other week and I've just managed to get out and test it. Luckily at the local part there was an orchid fair so off I went. Knowing that these things are crowd pullers I decided the OM-D was the camera for this job. The IBIS is amazing and a tripod or een a monopod would be of no use.
I was right, I think the whole of Frankfurt was in attendance and getting near to the orchids was a battle in itself. I managed to get a few but not nearly what I was hoping for. The following are a a few I though made the grade on this outing.
