NIKON 1 V1 Focal Length: 40 mm Aperture: f/25.0 Exposure Time: 1/1 sec ISO: 100 11/14/15 Nikon 1 V1 - FT1 - Micro Nikkor 40 f2.8GSince the Nikon 1 system doesn't have a dedicated macro lens there is only one other path to take, and that is via the FT1 adapter. I was looking for a smalish macro for the system and I've seen some good images from the Micro Nikkor 40 f2.8G lens. I haven't had too much time to see what it can do but it seems to produce some nice images on the Nikon 1 system.
The lens is small but the FT1 adapter makes the system bigger, it's still smaller than most FF macro lenses. It gives a FOV of 108mm on the Nikon 1 system which is perfect in my opinion. Let's take a look at a few images taken in about 5 minutes to test the lens. I'll let you be the gudge of image quality. For me, it's a keeper. 1298
