11/17/16 Sony A7II - Sony FE 24-240 f3.5-6.3 OSSThe following images were taken with the above camera/lens combination (unless otherwise stated). It was my holiday combination of choice during my visit to Cornwall, UK during the rainiest June in recorded history . This is where I noticed some strange behavious from this lens. If you look at the bottom right of this image you can see that it's not what I would call, very good. This happened at shorter focal lengths and it could be seen either on the left or right side of the image. So it's not something I could really nail down. It didn't happen all of the time and is something that's still got me thinking about it after a few months. Not certain if this lens is one that I can count on. I think I'll switch to either my Fuji system or M43 again. Another negative for this lens is the space it takes up. Not exactly what I call light either. 1194

11/14/16 Panasonic GX8 - Panasonic G Vario 45-150 f4.0-5.6As a precaution I took this combination with me as well as my Sony A7II with the Sony FE 24-240 f3.5-6.3 OSS. The combination works quite well but I found the 45-150 quite frequently to be too long and I had to switch back to the Sony system to get the wider shot. Perhaps the Olympus 14-150 would have been a better choice. It has served me well as a holiday lens up to now. Probably switch back to that lens after this experience.
This image was taken from the deck of a ferry and these seagulls know quite well what's going on. They almost always get fed with bread from the passengers. They followed the the ship for quite some time. It was interesting to see their acrobatic endeavours. Impressive. 1224

11/13/16 Sony A7II - Sony FE 24-240 f3.5-6.3 OSSTried this combination as my holiday do everything lens. Just dislike changing lenses when on holiday with the family. Takes too much time and irritates the rest of the group. Result? OK but it is rather large. I think I'll revert to my M43 or Fuji systems for this sort of thing. They offer ideal size and the results are excellent. 1268
