I just love this image. It's been worked on a little in LR4.x and Photoshop but I don't believe I've overdone it. Just look at the texture and colour in this tree. The bokeh is also something to write home about. This lens will be used quite often I think when on my walks around town.

Lone Tree

Lone Tree

Spotted this lone tree growing along one of the many paths traversed to get to mountain top. Photographing this gave me a good excuse to stop and have a breather. I just like the gree against the very blue sky. What I have noticed is that a blue sky is not just a blue sky. In southern countries the blue seems to be a deeper shade of blue. I prefer it to the blue of the northern European countries. I try and take in everytime, but it impresses me again the next time I see it.

Clouds

Clouds

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy photographing clouds? Well, I do, just in case I didn't mention it. We were out on a little 4 hour walk when I looked behind me. This is what I saw. That cloud coming over the hill looks like it had some precipitation in it. It did. One good thing though, we got back before the heavens opened up. I'll be posting an image soon showing what actually came down. Not nice for those that were still out.
Some nice contrast here between the sky and the very yellow gorse that seems to everywhere in the Spanish mountains. I also like the olive tree on the center left. Those branches makes the tree come to life.
